![]() ![]() This game has hidden development-related text.Īfter almost 23 years, classic Sonic gameplay returns in all its 2D pixel-perfect glory. ![]() So this patch at least did fix that for me (Xinput emulation didn't work in the previous version).Released internationally: August 15, 2017 (PS4/XB1/Switch), August 29, 2017 (Windows) FWIW, I checked 'Hide DS4 Controller' in DS4Windows. I'll try Xbox 360 controller emulation next and see if that works.ĮDIT: Xbox 360 gamepad / XInput emulation with DS4Windows now allows me to use my DS4 without mapping it to send keyboard inputs. ![]() ![]() I tried disabling DS4Windows to see if my DS4 / PS4 gamepad would now work natively. In other matters, this update has not fixed my DualShock 4 controller. So that is why I still care and hope that Sega removes it in the hopes it repairs the PR wound that was created so the game can once again go back to 'Overwhelmingly Positive' status and so the whole Denuvo thing can be put in the rearview mirror in the community. I would propose removing it in a follow up patch, or at the very least giving your buyers a reasonable timetable for when it will be removed.Įven though I feel my personal case was rectified, I still would like to see this game succeed so there are more of them commissioned. You got your first day sales that supposedly got the impatient would-be infringers to buy the game who otherwise wouldn't (supposedly) if a zero day or day one 'crack' had been available. I no longer really have 'skin in the game' so to speak since I got refunded by the vendor who sold me my Sonic Mania Steam key (though since it was a third party that refunded and not Steam, I still have the game in my Steam account) but I think at this point it is undeniable that Denuvo truly has lost whatever real or imagined benefits it had once it was circumvented. ![]()
